Calyso first came on stage as a planter figure, with her hair full of bananas, and her body in great athletic shape. Exotic planting has been replaced by banana flowers and leaves, and for the first time water which spurts to the front and to the side at the same time.

HOW IS CALYPSO CAST?

Calypso has a thread in the bottom of each leg, so she can be fixed to a stone base or plinth. She is cast in bronze resin and can be finished with either a polished bronze or verdigris patina.
