The water flows from the mouth of a fish in Myrtle's
hair, spurting to her right. There are also shells in her long hair,
which runs to a fringe in the front, and down her back between crossed
arms. Turn your pump down a little, and the water gently cascades over
the front of her body.
Myrtle is at heart a watery spirit, and she would
be perfect as a figurehead on the prow of a ship. She is usually finished
with a verdigris patina, which Lily feels suits her best.
HOW IS MYRTLE CAST?
Myrtle has a thread in the bottom of each leg, so
she can be fixed to a stone base or plinth. She is cast in bronze resin.
She can be cast without the integral copper pipe if preferred simply
as a figure.
