"Thanks for visiting my web site.

I am busy at the moment working on a commission I received late last year for a series of figures for public gardens in a development in North Somerset. I have to create acrobats for one garden, designed with a circus theme which has to be particularly child-friendly. I am hoping they will be cast and installed before the summer.

The second garden needs a series of HUGGING figures, similar to my CHINESE WHISPERS piece, and I am putting the finishing touches to my WORLD HUG, which is kind of circular, with four adults and four kids in a big hug around a huge earth. It will be either a planter, without the earth, or a fountain, with the water appearing at the North pole and running southwards.

As soon as the figures are cast I will post photos on the web site.

The third garden needs pelicans. I LOVE PELICANS! These are yet to come, although my PELICAN LOVERS will be one of the figures placed in the garden. Watch this space. . .

Check out the NEWS page - we are planning to post photo and text contributions from people who already have one of my figures. It should be fun.

I hope you enjoy my work."

Dear Lily and David,

I thought you might like to know that I've arrived at my new home and that the Scurrs transported me safely.

I've had a good look at the place they want me to grace and I can tell you; I don't think much of it at present. However, I've been assured that it will be made worthy of me in due course. In the mean time, as you can see, I'm keeping an eye on things.

Love,

Elsie.

"Looking over things...."

Dear Lily and David,

I'm installed.

My installation was just taking place when the Scurrs shot off for their holiday in sunnier climes. Upon their return there I was in all my glory. While they were away it was cold enough to freeze the knockers off a brass . . . . . . . . . . well, you know what I mean!

They tell me that I'm the focus of the garden and have already turned a few heads.

Love,

Elsie.
